Chinese Checkers 1 is a 1 player game.  On each turn the player moves a piece one step forward or jumps other pieces.  If no moves are possible, then the player must do nothing (in which case the game is effectively over).  The objective of the game is to get all three marbles from the home three squares to the opposite three squares.  Rewards are 0 points if the player has no marbles in place, 25 points for one marble, 50 points for two marbles, and 100 points for three marbles.  The game terminates as soon as the player gets all marbles home or on the 20th step, whichever comes first.  It is easy to win, but it is possible to get stuck and, in any case, the game tree is too large for non-optimized players to search completely.
